My Love - Poem by Adnana Saric

Like the road that never ends,
I walk toward you, my love.
Like the people I call my friends,
I cherish you, my love.
Like the flame that grows,
My feelings for you soar, my love.
Like the deadly sharks that roam the seas,
You're cruel to me, my love!

You leave my mind confused, and my heart bruised.
You show me signs,
But again you don't.
The way I feel for you,
For me, you never won't.
I do all in my power,
To complete this tower,
I can't help my soul,
And I think of you, every hour.

My friends say to never stop hoping,
And that I'll win the fortune soon.
To win this fortune,
It's up to you.
I'm stranded holding my last breath.
It's either you or death.
This is how this situation feels,
My god, is this really real!

My love is what I'll call you,
Your blue eyes, I'll cherish.
Your personality, I'll love,
You're a special one.
You guide me to a place where friends go,
That's good enough for me, my love.

I've done what I could,
To go on, I really should.
Now at least having you as a friend,
Life will be good.
