My Mask - Poem by Marie Estrada

Blood, blood is racing down my vein as I am slowly beinb cut open only no-one knows it is a place no0one can see.
Soon I will be alone with no-one by my side but him, and yet he is all I want, I see him everywhere I turn I think of him as I would think of myself just a broken peice of glass searching for my peices.
They say everyone has a purpose, yet I tend to ask myself 'do i? '
Slowly I am dying for me death cannot be cured.
I hide behind a mask, a totally different face sits beneath it, that no-one notices, all they see is a smile, and think everything is okay.
Yet I must add, 'It is not all that bad.'
