My Missed Best Friend Poem by Flip The Girl

My Missed Best Friend

Rating: 5.0

Can't say how much I miss you,
Or how hard it is to say,
How much I love you,
In every single way.

I miss your cheeky smile,
And your turny-outty feet,
And how much you loved your food,
And all the weird stuff you'd eat.

I miss your long, pink tongue,
And your big, puppy-dog eyes,
And the way you would chase everything,
But never hurt a fly.

I miss your patchwork body,
Made of blacks, tans and whites,
And how much you loved your walks,
And sleeping during the nights.

I loved your different costumes,
And how much you loved them back,
The great one with the cape,
And your homemade racing mack.

I loved your personalities,
A different type each day,
First you would be serious,
Then you would want to play.

I'd be so happy to see you,
And so sad to say goodbye,
I still see you in the road,
With a sparkle in your eye.

To me you're never gone,
To me you're always here,
Just remember all the good times,
Puzzle, my darling, my dear...x...

This is about my dog that was killed by a car, aged 4. He meant everything to me and we did everything together. I will always miss him and still wonder if we would have made it to Crufts for agility... I guess I will never know...
