My Natural High - Poem by Myleen Payawal

As I lie awake at night
Listening to your calm breathing
Loving you is so worth the fight
And now I know what's the meaning

No words could express how I feel
Caring for somebody this much
All the pieces come into place
Because of your single touch

And every movement is cherished
Nothing is taken for granted
Softly you kiss me on my lips
And leave me feeling enchanted

Graciously thankful for everything
Dancing this brilliant dance
Elevated to a high point
Landing into a lucky chance

Only you could take me this high
Sugared into perfection
Sensual love taken down here
And pointing to your direction

Now that I am complete
Take me to your sanctuary
Over and over I will say
So now I can see clearly
