My Soul - Poem by VANY TB, Palakkad

Some thoughts in my heart now,
The thoughts, mine, like my breath;
Why springs laugh at me like an enemy?
I can't enjoy any beauty in life -
Some thoughts have broken my heart;
I feel a beautiful pain in broken parts,
Some sadness and pain in my heart,
That, alas, is I.

I'm alone here, why?
I know not that -
The night was beautiful,
But, alas, laughing at me like an enemy;
Stars and the Moon told me,
'Leave that world,
There is none, anyone for you';
My friend sometimes talked something to me,
But, not now, why?
I don't know that;
I talked to him,
But, alas, he has no response to me;
I am truly sad!

Again comes beautiful seasons,
But, all, laughing at me like an enemy;
Why? I don't know;
The Moon and stars again tell me,
'Leave that world,
You are alone there';
I asked the Moon,
'Why you tell me this? Please tell me';
The Moon replied,
'You're dead; you are a mere soul,
Because you are alone there;
That is human world, not of souls!
Your friend is beside your grave,
You can't talk to him;
Please come here,
A beautiful world awaits you here, come'
Oh! I realse now that I'm dead;
'But I can't leave this world', I told the Moon;
The Moon asked, 'why not? '
I replied, ' here is my heart,
I already gave that to someone,
I can't take back my heart from him';
The Moon replied, 'Look at that,
He got another heart,
He has no need of your heart,
He already forgot you';
I told the Moon, 'My soul loves him a lot,
I LOVE HIM with all my soul, mind, heart and body too.
