My Special Valentine Poem by Richard Alin Martin

My Special Valentine

My Special Valentine

With hearts and flowers
Strung on Cupid’s bow,
As frosty day retreats
The morning sun;
Where laughing eyes
In wistful style,
Lend tender touch,
To sweetheart’s smile,
A moments pause
To watch a mem’ry grow…..

Two lovebirds tell the world
In simple song,
The feeling of
Togetherness in time;
Forever sweet,
That two hearts beat,
As one when lovers
Chance to meet,
The essence of
a special Valentine…..

With gentle kiss the spark,
Two hearts entwine,
As petals brushing
Softly in the wind;
A look, askance,
The fondest glance,
Reflections of
a true romance,
Remind me of my
special Valentine…..

If life could start again
From distant time,
Erasing all that’s
Ever been and done,
My endless love
Would rise above,
Forever after,
Dreaming of,
The one I call
My special Valentine.
