My Tormented Soul - Poem by Amanda harding

The depths of hell
Could not compare
My inner torment
Forever there
His words fill my aching hell
It never does fade away
The pain i felt
The hurt i held
Forever haunts me

That feel of hands around my neck
No control
No chance
Is this the end

No! It cannot be
My life could not be so obsolite
The bruises fade
The cuts heal
The torment, forever there

Never will i trust again
He took away my life
My soul

I may be alive
But i feel dead
Forever hands around my neck
