My True Everlasting Love - Poem by Nikki Parker
He smiles lighting up my life all I want to do is hold him tight.
Would it be to much to ask him for his heart and his trust.
What I feel for him is more than lust.
I understand what your going through I emphasize I been there too.
The hurt and pain that you feel only time will help heal.
When it is for love again you yearn The phoenix will rise.
The fire in your eyes will burn.
It is time that will help heal the soul.
The heart strings I will pull.
So as I declare this day in May
For it will be only you I take care of and worry about till my final day of resting does appear
I will always love you my dear.
