My Uncle Sam - Poem by Chris DeMint

Hi There people
my name is Dan
come to tell ya why
i'm here on your land
the trouble it seems
was caused by Saddam
now i'm sent here
by my uncle sam
were trying to give reason
tryin to give freedom
you say that you want it
so why do you cry?
the cost of all freedom
someone must die!
rebels, alqueda, terrorists and such
a bunch of insanes
who have really lost touch
they take up their arms
say it's a just cause
wait a minute people!
let me put ya on pause
one kind of terror
is just like the rest
freedom is the only way
to give you our best
we lay down our lives
you seem not to care
you take our money
say get out of here
this war we are fighting
is not just for you
so we keep our freedom
it's a must thing to do
you came to our land
crashed down our towers
put thousands in ground
with millions of flowers
so protecting our rights
upholding our plan
thats the real reason
were here on your land
we would love to go home
to our families behind
but your killing each other
you don't seem to mind
our heros are dying
to protect what is true
like i said for our safety
it's a 'must thing to do'
history is making
new records each day
setting up peace
learning new ways
when you can take over
set up your new life
putting an end
to your struggle and strife
we'll collect all our toys
gladly head on back home
leaving you to fend
in your land all alone
God is the answer
there's just one you know
soon He is returning
for His proof to show
these wars we are fighting
are according to plan
the way that it is written
it's all in His hands
there will be no peace
that mere man can see
Until Jesus comes back
for you and for me
