Naming The Tree, By Its Scent Poem by james watkin

Naming The Tree, By Its Scent

Naming the tree, by its scent
Is the Wind, mad dashing through.
"This is hawthorn; this, holly".
Crisp of style; with clarity.

The proper way to take in
His accessible lectures
Clover-cushioned, in surrounds
Indistinct from campus grounds.
