Nana - Poem by sophie smith

It had been a long time since ide seen you
Apart from the fish show when I came for a brew
I ran from home with so much fear
Hopeing you would make things seem so very clear
You did just that the way nan's do
And for that I wouyld like to thank you
You gave me a bed and said ill always be here
And your always here when I need you near
When theres a problem your always there
To talk to me with so much care
When I told diane you came down
And you looked at me and said oh you clown
I felt a burden when I first came
But you soon made it feel like home again
I am sorry for all that I have done wrong
I will now try and change so that I become strong
You've taught me a lot whilst ive been here
Its made me see thing's more clear this year
I can not thank you enough for all you have done
And all the times weve had good fun
Nana I love you I love you a lot
Thank you for being there when my mum lost the plot
