Need A Love That Is True - Poem by Tabitha Broadstreet

I want you to be my friend
But I cannot be your lover
Just accept me as I am
And don't pretend
Don't make it no scam

I am not to be had
Just for you to abuse
And keep me being used
Not like that anymore
Finally got to my core

Our passion wasn't true
Know it felt good
But physical attraction is only a delude
Want to give love a try
Don't want anymore what is a lie

Someone is made out there for me
The way God intended it to be
Someone for you too
But wasn't to be me
If we want to feel complete
