Never Bleak And Deceived - Poem by Emily Ecstacy

i wander alone
through brown coloured eyes
waiting for the one that looks at my insides.
so the outside is important i hear some say
but is that why we are all so astray?
from life and love
can't we all just rise above
and take off those gloves
that hide who we really are
and let that which was broken fly again.

One may see this and read the words
one may read this and see that the world
If we all saw eye to eye, cheek to cheek,
some agree it is better than being alone and weak.
but strength is not being braun
strength is not being many
strength is bravery,
seek and receive
and the world will never be bleak and deceived

(Im kinda like thirteen and i wrote this because i find that more people i know try to make you like the models you see instead of embracing you as an individual and your special talents that you are on the inside. it means if they dont think your pretty people try change you till you are their version of perfection)
