New Years Resolution - Poem by Marissa Savage
*Note: This is not really based on New Years Resolutions, somehow I managed to turn this from a New Years poem into a short poem of my life...
This Year I got no resolutions
Because I don't like that kind of stuff
Who has the time for resolutions?
When what you're going through is tough
I've got lots of haters
Stabbing knives in my heart
Depression is clawing at my insides
and tearing me apart
I'm just a lost cause
But I suppose I can't complain
I just have to come up with ways
to keep me from going insane
I need a reason to live
but I can't seem to find one
I know life isn't all games
and it isn't really fun
I need someone who cares
I need someone before the end
Basicly what I'm saying is
I just need a friend.
*another note: I know this poem is like... really bad, but I wrote this when I was in grade 8... and I'm graduating this year...
