Night Note 137 - Poem by Michael P. McParland
Hello my sweet love and I can
feel you so near as I sit here.
It helps keep me calm and soothes
my sad heart as you give me the biggest,
warmest and contented smile.
I so wish you were here as in
just a few minutes now I am going to get up
and go shave my head before getting
in a calming and refreshing shower so good.
These clippers are getting old
and I need new ones bad.
I wish you were here to help me
with them so it wouldn't rip out parts
of the hair that is there.
I do great on my own with a great
set of clippers my love but these
ones I could use help with because
they are leaving spots behind as well.
And then I wish you could just join me
under the wonderful water so very warm
as we just held each other kissing,
talking, and smiling so big.
Kira I just want to hold you so close to me.
Feel me so close to you
as I send my loving warmth total and in full,
feel these sweet kisses of true love
with great big hugs of warmth I send in full.
I love you so much my only one
and I wish you were here to join me for
a gorgeous night after the shower.
Cozying up as you curled up in my arms
and we shared sweet kisses so full of love.
Kira you are the greatest there is.
So before I went about my little duties
I wanted to say I so deeply love you
and will write you so shortly
after I have sat back and gotten comfy.
