Night To Day - Poem by Tina Irwin
As the night gives way to the morning hum,
My mind drifts to a wondering sum.
'A chicken or egg, life or death.
Is it worth taking another breath? '
As the day progresses, and the birds fly,
I ask myself a question, 'Is it my turn to die? '
The answer always seems to be,
Not today, tommorrow we shall wait and see.
As the day ends, for night to begin,
I wonder if tommorrow i'll commit a sin.
