Nightfall In A Village - Poem by NITIN RAMNATH

Purple red hues paint the sky
Returning flocks of the cattle slowly passes by
Under the shadows of mountains, the villages lie
Darkness fills the ridgeline grasses.the rivers flow by
Eerie wind sweeps the moonlit clear night
mystic fills the air with fragnance light
Coldness whithers in the lamplight, the flame flickers
Erratically away, from the dark cliffs, the spring trickles.
