No Sympathy For Window Shoppers - Poem by Manny Negron

Never waste a single dropp of blood
Put it on display
Describe its origin in graphic detail
I know you let your guard down
and let their actions pierce you
But I see your heart still beats,
although struggling just to breathe
In the meantime, take advantage of its last few sobs of hurt
Voice all your bleeding wounds,
and let their memory be your only vengeance
