Not All Desires Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Not All Desires

Somewhere we are going wrong
We take it as cheap song
We are dreaming in wrong concept
And that reflects in our act

Why not we accept reality?
That has been imposed by an almighty
Why not we live in simple way
And dream in big way?

If not, we have to compromise
Give false promise
Make soul to come in terms
And wrongly make turn

Such things do not help
It is real slap
On our face to realize
And humanly oblige

Not all desires can be fulfilled
Not all the wishes can be killed
It is up to us to feel contended
Rest all the work of life can be attended

The last bit is truly a masterful piece of work, the whole thing was great but the final verse really speaks volumes. 16 Dec by Adam Long to Not all desires
