Note To Self... - Poem by Kristin Jean Marie

Don't ever forget who you are, ..
but search & dig & change & grow..
Don't analise the future, .
the past, ..or the un-known.
Try not to get weary, bitter, or self-defeating, and don't take anything for granted.
Remember you were broken, but you are perfect the way you are.
Don't forget that you have loved, you have been loved, & you have lost. You have held a child, kissed a puppy's nose, seen the sun rise, .. and watched it set over the Ocean, you have felt pain, you have been hurt & you may do it all again...
Don't forget all the good times that came with the bad.

Read the Messiah's Handbook often.

Don't forget what Marissa said & your vow to her.

Your friends will know you better in the first minute you meet, than your aquaintences will, in a lifetime.

Don't get disappointed, not all will measure up to the integrity of your honesty or the depth of your love.
Remain Humble & try to be gentle with yourself.
Remember that your mother never let you down.

Don't forget that regardless of where life takes you, there is always purpose.

Your only obligation in any lifetime is to be true to yourself.

Stay Determined, keep a clear head, & focus only on what you want, ...

and never, ever, .. let go.
