Nothing - Poem by Kristel ashton

You see him but he’s just the one
The one you will use twist and tour tore
Until you’ve used every breath kiss and whisper
Till he has nothing left to give you
Leave him lying there and wondering
Will she ever come back here again

Watch him dying from his pain
Until he can no longer bear it
Sit there knowing that you really don’t care
Knowing he wished you could feel it
But he knows you really don’t care
He knows you know how it feels
But you don’t feel it here and now

You sit and watch him
Knowing how he feels
And you realize that your empty
Gave him nothing because you had nothing to give
Took everything he had
Because no one knows
That your really hiding behind him
So they only see your pain reflected through him
You give everyone the excuse your happy
But you never loved him

But he loved you, you know it
that’s why you choose him
To manipulate until you became bored and tired
You never made excuses for yourself
You always told him that its just a game
But you weaved around him
Until he couldn’t get out
When he found out who you really were
It was to late he was trapped

You know how it feels
But not right then and there
Cause its not something you’ll let yourself feel
And then you realize that’s its not him its you
Your empty and lonely and you gave nothing to him
