Nothing Of Age Denotes You, Sun Poem by james watkin

Nothing Of Age Denotes You, Sun

Nothing of age denotes you, Sun.
Though old as light itself, no one
Thing acquired from your aspect, your all
But appeals to everyone.

Who talk of 'spots', through virtual eyes
Of his own shame but magnifies.
And who of 'golden beards' lisp, in the imaginative
Sense only is wise.
