Notorious (Biggie Smalls Poem) - Poem by Christopher Montalvo

Bedstuy's Big Poppa,
The Black Frank White,
Started out a young paper chaser,
Black hoodie and black Tims,
Strapped with a glock and a Tec-9,
No longer a slave,
In a concrete jungle,
Where the white man no longer rules,
Take what's rightfully mine,
My 40 acres and a mule,
Livin' everyday like a hustle,
Another drug to juggle,
Another day, another struggle,
I'll do anythin' for my baby daughta',
So stupid nigga,
Where the cash at? ,
Where the stash at? ,
Nigga Pass That! ,
Go back to lurkin in the shadows,
Waitin for the next unlucky soul,
To come around the street corner,
Just another lonely night,
Where my only company are the streetlights.
Motivated to make it B.I.G.,
Refuse to stop livin before I D.I.E.

Enough of the triple beam dream,
Time to create grand money-making schemes,
Went from hoodies and tims,
To fur coats and gators,
Blood-shot eyes from the ganja,
A true New York player,
'Scandalous niggas standin' in line,
Waiting for the chance to take what's rightfully mine, '
A lot of slow singing and flower bringing,
When I hear my burglar alarm,
Rush up on 'em with a sawed off,
Blood splatter on my cashmere,
Take your arm and leg as a souvenir,
Throw the rest of your torso,
To the yard where my rottweilers will appear.

Hollow-tips hovering over my head like a death-wish,
Knocking at my front door, my nigga Lucifer,
Yellin in my ear,
It's almost your time, Christopher,
Niggas keep prayin on my downfall,
As long as I'm at the top,
Im'a see it all, Do it all,
F*** all the dumb niggas,
Scared, Afraid, and Timid,
The real do it because their hearts in it,
So when I leave,
Remind T'yanna that I lived to the fullest,
Always remember that the Sky is the limit.
