Now That The Lights Have Gone - Poem by Nabil Bhatiya

Now that the lights have gone
And its dark everywhere
Let’s leave everyone with their gossips
And let me take you somewhere
where there would be only me and you
And the moonlight and the silence
Where there would be no one to disturb
When I hug you and kiss you on your face

Now that the lights have gone
Let me show you the ocean of my love
which is so big and deep
that you’ll never be able to come out of it
Not at least the whole night tonight
Let me take you to a ride to the sky
And hide ourselves in the clouds so no one would see
When I slowly touch your neck with my lips

Now that the lights have gone
Let me hold you in my arms
And let me lose myself in your beautiful eyes
Hug me tight and listen to the voice of my heart
It says let me inside and let me touch your soul
And let me make this moment so special and beautiful
that whenever in your life you remember it
It’s memories would bring that cute smile on your face
Yeah…that smile…the smile I can always die for
