Now, You Barely Speak - Poem by Adnana Saric

Now you barely speak,
As though my presence makes you weak.
Now you really show how you feel,
What happened to us just keeping it real?
Now you barely move,
As I walk in through the door.
Giving me a chill, and something for my mind to explore.

When I see you in the halls,
You seem to drift away.
What am I suppose to do?
What am I suppose to say?
Is this how you want it?
Cuz it seems that way.

Now your tone is new,
And I wonder is all okay with you?
I ask because I care,
And you know I'm always there.
So I'll give you your space,
And I'll give you your time.
But I'll wait patiently, til you give me mine.
Give me what I wait for,
Hand me the truth,
Just remember, I know what's truly within you.
