O God, Let There Be Peace - Poem by Manisha Tulaskar

O God, let there be peace
Let differences among people cease
Let there be happiness everywhere
Let there be suffering nowhere

Let people love each other
And have a friendly nature
To have a good future
And be compassionate to every creature

Let people live together
And promote a healthy culture
Irrespective of religion, caste and creed
O God, let there be peace

Let there be no violence of any kind
For the sake of mankind
Let humans overcome their greed
O God, let there be peace

Let there be no gender discrimination
Let women face no humilation
Let there be safety on every street
O God, let there be peace
