O My Love - Poem by Gulam Abbas Hashmi

O! Bearer of serene splendor
Take effort shall you please
If not, raise thou those gaze of yours
My life will come to cease
I stand before thy decorum
In hope of generous glance
A feeble look shall pump me up
My heart shall live and dance
I might be not that worthy one
Thy loveliness deserves
But surely you may keep as kept
I, give in to you my powers
If you shall put a step on earth
My heart will lie their throbbing
I will but ask this leniency
Don’t skip on it while walking
