Ode To Mr. Rosenthal - Poem by Bailey Clemmons

Excuse me Mr. Rosenthal,

I see you standing
In the front of the classroom.
Your serene voice,
Projecting like petals of honey
So smooth.
Sharing your knowledge
for my edification.
Always aware of my potential,
teaching with power
something that will never be forgotten.
Your humor is able to
Bring life
to any Place.
Palpable warmth from inside
you is felt by my classmates and I.
Awarding treasures
that can never be replaced.
Giving the light
of eternal knowledge.
You are a book,
full of compassion.
A strawberry you are,
sweet on the inside and out.
A wonderful person,
and that fact is irrefutable.
