Ode To The Tree
The tree
The Sahabi tree
The blessed tree
The significant tree
Keeping the good performance
Being the history, the witness
Of the facts in time, in place
Era after era standing free
You have been extraordinary
O, tree!
You would wait for the great men
To come under you and sit
You were ready to serve them
Sprouting instant leaves to shade
People knew you and know
And will know till they live
O, tree!
The last man
Whom you served last
Is the most significant one
Among all creations, in all times
He is really in fact
You know that,
O, tree!
