Of Stars And Storms - Poem by Heidi Riegel

Drip Drop Rattle Crash
Above the huddled forms
Nature’s power is shown in more
Than just the Furious storm

Above the clouds are little points
Of pure and twinkling light
Dimly seen in the city
But in the country burning bright

Looking up to the sky
Stars are shining through weather bleak
Are these tears or merely raindrops?
Wetting my upturned cheek
