Of Thoughts And Heartaches - Poem by Amalei Masigla

Nights crumbling to daylight
People die for rebirth
But they know it not

The valley drops to its lowest point
But does it know
Does it say goodbye when it dies

The start of a new beginning
Shimmering in the midst of your bosom
Of milk and honey

It will unfold
Like the sun that rises in the morning
Like the moon that sets before it

Does it really make sense?
When a lily dies and a dragonfly drowns
Connected to each other like a web
