Off The Right Track - Poem by Kellie Younger
You hurt me so
But, oh I don't know
The pain you made me feel,
I guess I can deal.
You have my heart,
I play my part.
But you don't know you lines,
So you made some signs,
You made me believe that I had a chance.
But it's just a lie, another fake dance.
Can't you see,
All the pain you're causing me.
Look at the pain in my eyes
The pain cause by those lies.
My heart's been scattered on the ground
Can't you tell I'm going down?
Unaware that you don't know me
You know who I appear to be.
You think I'm fine, that life's perfect
Hear you wake up call, it's all but perfect
I hate that this is who I am
I changed just like that, BAM!
Make me myself again
Let me have something for everyone to gain
I want people to know me,
The real me, not the fake me.
I need my life back
Help me find the right track.....
Help me find the right track...
