Olympia Poem by Gillena Cox

Olympia

Hail Olympia mount of seers
The endurance of muscle and spittle
All for a kiss and a flower wears
Strength of nations exposition-ing
Thumbs up Olympia mount of seers
The city is covered in bated breath
A guardian watches and listens and hears
As dew falls on the lover's heart
Cheers cheers to Zeus ears
Much more than a warrior's gall
Contested there at Olympia mount of seers
