Once Upon A Dream Poem by amanda awan

Once Upon A Dream

Warms sand, cold feet
away from the worries she goes.
Her heart, asleep
away from the bitter and cold

Your eyes fixed to see
she lay on the beach alone.
You came, a fairytale to be
her face starts to glow.

A bucket and a shovel
a tingling feeling flickers alive.
In a whisper, you told her,
a new being comes alive.

The beginning, a feeling,
that will always stay to last.
In a distance, you kneeling,
a girl stays protected on your lap.

Its building, tomorrow coming
wondering what it might be.
The sunset, all dawning
just once upon a dream.
