Ope - Poem by Timothy Ogunsakin

Long straighten askrew trunk
Smooth scratching trunk
Hanging chucky shaggy head
Crossing fronds lie ahead;
Its fingers pointed evil doer
To err is human, even in a corner
Virtue of fruit surviving
Man venomous eaten
All parts content man.
Alas! Nut borne Oguso who earn
Paraffin to fire-light darkness
And devulge open secret in darkness
An enemy of light
Don't strike me unsight
