Our One Last Kiss - Poem by Ranock Saing

I watched you kissed her in pain
Inside, my heart cried feeling vain
You looked directly at me with vicious eyes
My whole heart was paralyzed
This was a good lesson from romance
But now all I need is another chance
Maybe not from you
Especially of what you’ve put me through
There watching you, no shadow cast
No lingering of wanted memories, only left was the past
With me, there’s always a part of you that will never wash away
Until I die, forever you will stay
When I was sad, you washed away my tears
Then I was afraid, you took away my fears
Your kisses and hugs were a tender
Our times together were splendor
Battling to be myself while around you was a torture
At that time, I didn’t know what to do, everything was a blur
We were in heaven when we touched each other
The times past, then we were no longer together
Birds on the trees stopped singing
Eyes of the old woman stopped blinking
Outside, there’s only rain falling
The sun has gone, no more shining
Musician stopped singing their songs
Happiness was long gone
Once again, the world had no shine
For you, I can’t anymore call mine
Nothing left, everything ceased to exist
Even our love, and our one last kiss
