Papatuanuku Poem by robyn nathan

Papatuanuku

I feel her all around me
enfolding me
like breath
living spirit meeting living spirit

All the parts of her body
nurture and hold me
I am deep rooted and attached to her
in every sense of my being

Mountains, Rivers, Oceans
My mother Papatuanuku
we are all one
birthed from and returning too
her Holiness

Let breath be the witness of this body....
