Paper, Sweat, Blood - Poem by Chaitanya Dorwat

A piece of paper,
sweat and blood,
values miser,
falls with a thud,
floats like a feather,
owner's mud,
worthless,
if ruptured.

A piece of paper,
sweat and blood,
abuses miser,
values words,
wise adviser,
still absurd,
shred it small,
still priceless ever.

A piece of paper,
sweat and blood,
Someone's wisdom,
Someone's hard-work,
Someone's fraud,
Someone's lie,
Someone's lurk,
and no one's shy.

A palace on these papers,
is human fraternity,
choose your paper;
and you'll be rich for eternity,
pleasures with measures...
They are: Currency and Poetry,
pieces of paper,
but still sweat and blood.
