Passion - Poem by Pete Heron

Yesterday someone told me my future,
‘You have great passion’,
She whispered in my ear,
But somehow I couldn’t feel her emotion,
Although she softly drew me near,
Then suddenly as if she was afraid,
That honesty would her chastity ensure,
She held me close and squeezing tight,
We got to sleep at long past four!
