Passive Looking At Active

'Yesterday' did dwindle when i reached 'today',
Though i thought it never would;
Will 'today' have the same fate? ,
I sit and brood;
And so i walk through life,
thinking that I lived;
When all I did was stare at my feet,
While someone was enjoying a meteoric shower.
