Paths Cross - Poem by Hezekiah Tate

Sometimes paths cross
And we don't know why
Kindred spirits connecting
Too strong to deny

Our lives are forever changed
By a single moment in time
Was it a coincidence of nature?
Or was destiny simply divine?

Where we go from here is a mystery untold
But regardless of the outcome
Having shared this time with you
Means more than you will ever know
