The power that is not power,
The light that is in darkness,
The shade in dazzling light.

The place enjoyed by peace in a life, may it be individual or continent, marvelously elaborated by the great philosopher and scholar.

In search of peace Swami Vivekananda has inscribed a beautiful poem like this based on philosophy. It may be cited....It is beauty never seen, / And love that stands alone, / It is song that lives un-sung, / And knowledge never known. Wonderful imagery.

Peace is light in darkness and mighty power. We feel it in inner core and we feel this as mercy of God in deep silence. This dazzles in the sky of humanity. This poem is greatly penned by the great poet.

Very talented poet. I can see the meaning in this poem whereas other times I can't always see the meaning because the poetry might be to abstract. Thanks for sharing.

It is sweet rest in music; And pause in sacred art; The silence between speaking; Between two fits of passion - It is the calm of heart. i went to Vivekananda para in Kanyakumari and meditated there..... tony

His vast knowledge of Eastern and Western culture as well as his deep spiritual insight, fervid eloquence, brilliant conversation, broad human sympathy, colourful personality, and handsome figure made an irresistible appeal to the many types of Americans who came in contact with him. People who saw or heard Vivekananda even once still cherish his memory after a lapse of more than half a century.CONGRATULATIONS The Classic Poem OTD.

Beautiful. Peace is the most elusive state of mind. To feel it amid storm and see its presence amid roaring tornados of life is what this great yogi achieved. So inspiring are his words.

When I think of Swamy Vivekananda I feel like standing before an invincible mountain of unfathomable heights and a new bright sun dazzling from the peaks. He himself was an envoy of peace and hence his poems are his voice. According to him peace is the goal of life.

Peace defined by the great Sage of India - - Swami Vivekananda It is death between two lives, And lull between two storms, The void whence rose creation, And that where it returns. To it the tear-dropp goes, To spread the smiling form It is the Goal of Life, And Peace - its only home! - - Just wonderful!
