Peace With Me - Poem by E.D. Campbell

lying silky on the silky earth
belonging where I belong
sweet as waking from a tender dream
and watching the dream roll on

here in broken skin on ashy knees
more me of me than I've ever been
a song that I know
from my first hazy home
is building
and about to begin again
