Peculiar

Rating: 5.0

The man in the Jaguar
is picking his nose.
I don't suppose he knows I see,
as he doesn't even notice me.

The girl in the pale pink dress
isn't wearing a vest
she has beautiful hair
and is stroking her breasts

and the boy doing
his paper round,
is cursing at the
early morning rain.

There's a woman
at the window
of number 32
who is naked

and her husband
just left the house
to run to the station
in odd shoes.

I look down at my own,
one pink and one blue,
crash into the hedge
outside number two

but I'm happy to know
we're all a bit strange,
I'm quite odd, yes peculiar
and so are you.
