Pina Bausch* Missed This Dance Poem by Mubeen Sadhika

Pina Bausch* Missed This Dance

Rating: 4.9

These eight legs and black body
jumped in air elegantly swirling
the hum sound and the beat
perfectly cohered the rhythm
the thud had regular strokes
tracking the resonance of tone
watching the fancied jig and jog
produce volatile dizziness
from all sides from all corners
this creature flying to show
the discreet dance voluntarily
catching the whole burlesque
the punching end came as
the wings drenched motionless.

*Pina Bausch was a great German choreographer.
