Please Poem by M McParland

Please

Please tell me that you love me.
Please tell me that it's true.
Please do not forsake me,
for then I'll feel a fool.

For the years I felt for you,
something tested tried and true.
For you to break it would be mean and cruel.

So please now tell me that you'll stay,
if at least for one more day.
Tell me now if you please,
that you love me and it's not a tease.

True love is not a game.
To say so would be truly lame.
So I say now with all my heart.
Please tell me you'll never depart.

Please say now with all your heart,
that with me you've found a brand new start,
and from me you could never part.
The games are over now you see.
Now we'll live in ecstasy.
