Policemen Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Policemen

Policemen

Don't paint them wromg
And try to purchase for song
They are not brutal
But simple individual

Don't make them to look cheap
They always keep
Social order in tact
And this is open fact

The politicians keep them as slave
In public very nastily behave
Pull them down
And even disown

Where is rest?
They are pressed to test
For all kinds of performance
For which they have no patience

For riots they die
For gamblers they try
For murderers they fly
After all nuisances, they run still not relied

Make them worthy
Provide full protection and salary
Give best of accommodation and social standing
We need to know them with full understanding
