Poor Orange Toad - Poem by Elliot Corey

Poor orange toad didn’t even see it coming
On the street hopping right along
Listening to a song
The orange toad hears a rumbling sound
But he still keeps on hopping
To that song
See lights coming around the corner
And then hopping faster
But it’s to late
Poor Orange toad
