Pray Of The Pard - Poem by Spandan Mohapatra

O my Motherland!

I pay the tribute to you

Allow me to make use of my soul

For the purity and patriotism

That shall bring fortunes for thou.

I require Thy strength

That would wash my all pain

I would laugh in high spirits and jollity

Even if a blade gets through my Barrel

For my all efforts won't go in vain.

I have no feeling of fear

For I know Thy vitality

I bear in my heart

with a strong intellect and vigour

I shall try hard to pursue my duty.

I shall not give up

But go on fighting without a pause

Allow me to make use of my soul

For the purity and patriotism

I shall die for a noble cause.
