Psalm-81 (Original) Poem by Walterrean Salley

Psalm-81 (Original)

What is my life
Without you, Lord?
What is life without you?

In the midst of trials,
You hold me close
And gently wipe away
My wincing tears.

Tenderly clutching
My feeble hand,
You escort me
Along the quiet shores.

Gently wiping my tears,
You whisper hope,
While pointing out
The rainbow.

And placing your joy
Within my heart,
You give me a song
That I might live again.
